What So Not’s New Album “Anomaly” Is Their Best Work To Date [OUT NOW]

By pure chance, I was lucky enough to see what not live twice in the last few weeks, once in Canacopia Arizona and once just a few days ago at their album release party in Los Angeles with Brownies & Lemonade. The first gave me a taste of his current musical influences, while the second was a pure representation of the album as it is, and now it’s everywhere.

no exaggeration, Anomaly it’s WSN’s best work to date (and he would agree). Although the project is only 11 songs and 34 minutes long, it never feels like it’s speeding up and rushing towards the end. Quite the opposite, in fact, as there isn’t a second of space to catch your breath as each track powerfully advances, building the story.

What So Not says about the album, “I think this album is the furthest I’ve progressed in my music. It’s the strongest, most thought out and most evolved version of any song I’ve worked on over the years and I’m really excited for people to hear it in its entirety. I am very grateful for the amount of time I was given to work on this during this cycle, which is not something I have experienced before.”

He continues, “The good side of the world closing in over the last few years has allowed me to refine and improve this album as I never have in the past. For me, this is my best work.”

But it’s not just music that Chris is revolutionizing with his new album in the world today, with an exciting project in the works ready to take Anomaly to even more vivid heights, as Chris reveals: “The album is actually the soundtrack to a 3D animated film that I’ve been developing for the last three years. There was a taste of it through the DMA clip, the EVAN GIIA clip and some of the viewers as well. I’ve been building an entire universe and I’m excited that people can literally step into it in the not too distant future. I’m creating a show that I’m not sure anyone has actually done yet. That will start to come to fruition probably within the next six months.”
