The new Strictly Come Dancing series kicks off Friday night and we can’t wait to see the new lineup of contestants show off their best moves on the dance floor.

However, celebrities won’t be the only new faces on our screens, as four new professionals have joined the cast for the biggest lineup of professional dancers ever!

The new dancers will join Giovanni Pernice, Graziano Di Prima and Amy Dowden in competition for the coveted Glitterball trophy, and it sure looks like they have the qualifications for the job! Check out the four new professionals here…
Vito is the eleven-time Latin American champion from Italy, who started winning national championships at just ten years old! The star is a three-time World Championship finalist and European Cup winner, and has played (and won) the Italian version of Strictly, Ballando con le Stelle.

Speaking about his participation, he said: “I am very happy to be a part of this family. I can’t wait to start this new adventure and challenge myself. Strictly to arrive! (or: Strictly I come!)”
Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas was the undefeated champion in Cyprus, winning back-to-back national titles from 2001 to 2011 before moving to London and giving someone else a chance to win! The star represented England at major international championships before joining the world-touring dance show Burn The Floor.

She said: “Being a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing has been my dream since I was a little girl. I can’t believe my dream has come true! I’m so grateful to join this amazing family and I can’t wait to walk this dance floor. of magic dance and give my all”

Lauren, born in Birmingham, started dancing at just two years old and won Juvenile Ballroom and Latin Championship titles. She became the UK Under-21 National Champion before going on tour and played alongside Giovanni Pernice and Anton Du Beke on their national tours.

Speaking about Strictly, she said: “I grew up watching Strictly, always hoping that one day I could be on the best TV show, doing what I love most. Now that it’s happening, it doesn’t seem like I can’t wait to start this brilliant new adventure and join this amazing family.
Chinese national champion Carlos is a multiple world semi-finalist, placed 3rd at the German Open championship and became a rising Latino amateur runner-up at the 2017 UK Open. He said of joining the squad: “I am thrilled to be joining Strictly and very excited to get started. It’s a new chapter in my life and a new challenge too. I am absolutely ready to embark on this journey and shine. »
