Motorcycle crash closes part of Lebanon Pike

DONELSON, Tennessee (WKRN) – An accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle closed off a portion of Lebanon Pike Wednesday morning near Donelson.

The accident happened just before 6:30 am at the intersection of Lebanon Pike and Cottage Lane, near Briley Parkway.

According to officers at the scene, a motorcycle was green-lit and was heading towards Lebanon Pike when it was hit by a vehicle.

Authorities say the vehicle ran a red light, tried to start Lebanon Pike and hit the motorcycle. It is not known whether the driver of the vehicle was transported with injuries.

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where his condition remains unknown.

Both Lebanon Pike tracks remain closed at this time.
