Adam Devine doesn’t want to be confused with Adam Levine.
The “Pitch Perfect” star took to social media on Friday to set the record straight after people mistook him for the Maroon 5 frontman in the midst of his cheating scandal.
“Just want to post this and say my wife @chloebridges and I are doing great and going strong,” Devine, 38, captioned an Instagram photo of him and Chloe Bridges, whom he married in October 2021.
“I’m not Adam Levine. He’s a different guy and a worse singer.” “However, we are naming our future baby Sumner.”
Devine – along with many other social media users – has been digging around Levine, 43, since he was accused of cheating on his wife, Behati Prinsloo, with Instagram model Sumner Stroh.
The 23-year-old model went viral on TikTok earlier this week after revealing she had an affair with a “man married to a Victoria’s Secret model”.
Stroh exclusively told Page Six that the “physical” affair took place “in the past year” after she graduated from college.
“There were red flags. There were reasons for me to be concerned…
In the video, Stroh claimed the “Memories” singer contacted her in June and asked if she was comfortable with him naming his son after her.
However, Levine immediately denied the allegations, saying that while he “crossed the line” by sending Stroh flirtatious messages, it never went further.
“I used bad judgment when talking to anyone other than my wife of ANY type of flirtation,” the “Payphone” singer said in a statement.
“I didn’t have an affair, but I crossed the line during an unfortunate time in my life,” he wrote, adding that his family is the only thing he cares about.
The couple – who married in 2014 – share daughter Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4, and are expecting their third child.
Since Stroh’s initial allegations on Monday, four more women have come forward with allegations that the “Moves Like Jagger” singer sent inappropriate messages while in a relationship.
On TikTok deleted, Alyson Rose shared flirting messages she received from the singer, who even admitted that he “shouldn’t be talking” to the model.
Another woman, fitness model Ashley Russell, shared a similar experience when the father of two complimented her physique.
“He was mostly into butt stories and would always respond with something to do with leg or butt day at the gym,” Russell, 21, told DailyMail.
“When I told him he would be caught texting girls like me, he stopped texting me,” she said.
While Prinsloo is reportedly “very upset” by the recent allegations, the pair appear to be putting up a united front as they were spotted in Los Angeles.
Though the couple appears to be all smiles on their outing, some fans think Prinsloo was sending a message through his clothes.
The supermodel was seen in a pink tank top imprinted with the word “Love” next to a coiled snake – a possible hint at her husband’s snake behavior.
